FT Dining room supervisor

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Food Services or Kitchen Manager, oversees the service of the meals to residents in the dining room and Catering Events by performing the following duties.

 OFFICE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Provides administrative duties within Dietary Department.  Assist in any office tasks required: printing, copying, scanning, e-mail, phone calls, data entry, filing etc.

·         Participation in meetings and handling follow-up issues with resident needs and other interdepartmental needs.

·         Performs monthly Safety Audits.  Handles follow up issues with a corrective plan.

·         Inventory – Keep track of all meals served, floor stocks and snacks distributed.

·         Assists with scheduling if needed.

·         Notify FSD of any issues immediately.

·         Have good customer service.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Makes sure all menus (podium & printed) match signs for salad bar

·         Make sure servers are assigned tables and that they are following them. Each server should have set tables.

·         Make sure all tallies (employee meal and tray services) are calculated correctly

·         Make sure all catering events have been set up and broken down properly. If on a day you re not here, make sure you have properly assigned someone to do so. It is no longer kitchen manager responsibility.

·         Make sure all equipment is cleaned and stored away properly for each event.

·         Delegates duties to other wait staff by using the daily assignment sheet. Follows through to make sure they are complete, if not completes them.

·         Follows up to ensure that all and everyone’s assignments in dining room are done at the end of each shift. If not complete them.

·         Make sure servers lock all doors and windows and communicate when they have completed their task to pm cook

·         Arranges and/or supervises the placement of settings on tables. (even if the table settings were not being used) make sure to double check all table setting for incomplete items (sugar/ salt, stained or chipped china or glass)

·         Maintains meal sign-up sheets and addresses special needs.

·         Oversees and assists with the serving of the resident’s meals.

·         Oversees and assists with the bussing of tables.

·         Maintaining par levels on the buffet.

·         Oversees and assists with the scanning of meal cards for residents and employees.

·         Ensures that a monthly inventory is conducted for all dining room service items.

·         Prepares catering task list and delegates specific tasks to employees.

·         Follows HACCP procedures at all times.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: General Education Degree (GED) or 2 years’ experience in the field required.

FT WAIT STAFF/SERVER - 3 OPEN POSITIONS

Job Description
Under the general direction of the Production Lead person, produces all salads, desserts and sandwiches needed for the resident tray line. The Wait staff/Server’s day-to-day work includes routinely setting up, clearing and cleaning and resetting dining room. Providing quality customer service to residents and guests. As a representative and team member of dining services, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction in the dining department.


Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma preferred.
Previous experience preferred.
Fluent in English language - written and verbal.
Presents a neat, well-groomed appearance.

Job Type:
Positions Needed: Full-Time, including weekends. Part-time, including weekends.

Assisted living Care partner

Job Description
We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/CNA to join our team in our memory care and assisted living facilities; Ranch House and Stewart Cottage. The Care Partner is responsible for assisting residents with ADL’s as needed and permitted per RCFE guidelines while encouraging resident independence including but not limited to daily dental/mouth care, bathing, dressing, grooming, nail care, ambulating and toileting and ensures residents are properly groomed and dressed each day.
Basic Responsibilities
Assisting residents with ADLs, in an RCFE setting, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse on duty. The Care Partner follows established facility and state RCFE policies and procedures while assisting with care. The Care Partner may work in the Hearth, Ranch House, or Stewart Cottage, depending on need and training.
Qualifications
Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have basic computer skills (EHR Charting and email). Must be able to work with a team and follow directions. Able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public. Able to be to handle difficult residents. Open to new ideas and methods to assist residents. Able to maintain resident confidentiality.
Job Type:
Full/non-exempt. Must be available for Night Shift 11PM-7AM.
