Diversity Fund

Honoring the memory and ministry of the Rev. Dr. Leon Fanniel

 The Rev. Dr. Leon Fanniel was the Grove’s first black Independent Living resident, former Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, long-time gifted Presbyterian leader and champion of justice until his death in 2018.  In his memory, the Diversity Fund supports Presbyterian pastors and mission personnel of color, who meet all regular qualifications for residency at MVGH but cannot meet the entrance fee requirement, due largely from having served under-resourced congregations and ministries. You can be a part of honoring Rev. Dr. Fanniel’s memory and make a difference in our community by donating to the Diversity Fund today.
