The Great Grove Gala

Amid COVID-19 precautions, it has become necessary to postpone the Great Grove Gala, as our first priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents, staff and friends.

What you need to know:

1. We plan to reschedule for October and will update you when a specific date is determined. Our Spirit Awardees, venue, and theme, and support opportunities will be the same, and information is still available at mvgh.org/gala.

2. If you have already purchased tickets, you may transfer them to the new date, request a refund, or convert them into a fully deductible contribution instead of a ticket. 3. There's also a lot of good news and great momentum, and we expect there will be more!
• For the first time in the history of our Gala, we have TWO top-level sponsors (George Gershwin Diamond level): The Berns Team, and House of Rest.
• Citizens Business Bank and CitizensTrust is an Amelia Earhart Platinum Sponsor!We also have two Coco Chanel Bronze Sponsors, and opportunities for gold and silver sponsorships.
• We have some great silent and live auction items lined up, with items still coming in. (We will send out an auction listing closer to the actual event.)

FOUNDERS CIRCLE
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our Founders Circle recognition event, which was to be held at the San Gabriel Country Club in April. Instead, the 2021 event will include 2019 members as well. 2019 members still get an exclusive gift, though, and we will be in touch with some special thanks. Our 2020 Committee continues to call and check in on our supporters, but is unable to make personal visits at this time!

Our CEO is keeping residents and their loved ones up to date on a daily basis with blast emails (to join the mailing list, email lmansis@mvgh.org). Find more information on our COVID policies and response to this situation at mvgh.org/covid19.
• The Messenger:
The development department is currently producing the spring edition of our semi-annual newsletter, The Messenger.

PRAYER

Our MVGH family of residents, staff, supporters, family and friends are praying corporately (but separately) at 12 and 7pm daily. Our residents are praying specifically for our donors and supporters and other friends. Please join us in daily prayer!
