An invitation to Participate in the Ending Well Workshop

"Ending well leaves a gift to those you love."

I have recently completed is a series of five one-hour workshops called "Ending Well."

This free workshop is going to save our children considerable time and worry.

When I met with the Residents' Executive Council members, they asked me to share this

information with you.

Some steps Lynda and I have taken during and following the workshop:

• I have prepared an "Ending Well to-do list" and a ''When I Die" file.

• I have shared the draft of our "Where to find things" list with our Executor, and we have

discussed the Executor's responsibilities.

• I told our children that I was attending the Ending Well Workshop. This provided the

opportunity for some good conversation. There will be more.

• Lynda and I are reviewing and updating our Health Directives.

• We have planned our "Celebration of Life" services and will be sharing the plan with our

children for their suggestions.

• We've been guided and motivated to improve what we had already done and to do what we

hadn't even thought of doing.

Size: Participation is limited to nine individuals or couples. This enables participants to make

comments and ask questions.

The workshop is offered on Zoom and the next series will begin in September.

Depending on your preference and your schedule, you might choose:

• A workshop at which most or all participants are from MVGH.

• A workshop of participants who are not MVGH residents.

What the workshop leaders do NOT do:

They do not offer legal advice or referrals to lawyers or law firms.

They do not offer investment advice or referrals to financial planners.

They are not connected to any mortuaries or funeral planners.

They do not give theological advice.

I am pleased to recommend this free workshop. You can register or request information at
