Recycling Plastic Bags

Thank you to everyone who collected and donated reusable plastic bags for the food pantry at Wilshire Presbyterian Church! Any bag they receive means a bag they do not have to purchase, leaving more funds to purchase food for those in need.

While there will be fewer bags now that the dining room has reopened and there is a charge for takeout meals, I still will collect any bags that you have. There is a new grey box on the north side of Marwick where you may leave bags. This location has been maintained because it is close to my garage where I store the bags in plastic bins for delivery to Wilshire Presbyterian.

Please fold each bag in half, and then half again, and place 10-15 bags inside another bag before placing all into the box. Be sure to close the lid to keep out the rain. Together we can make a difference. Thank you!
