Calling All Knitters, Crocheters and Quilters!

Angel Interfaith Network meets urgent physical and spiritual needs of patients and their families at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. One of the things they have been doing for many years to provide a lap robe for every patient in the hospital for Christmas, about 500 in all. Throughout the year volunteers in churches knit, crochet and quilt these 36"x36" lap robes, which are then distributed by other volunteers at Christmas time, and sometimes at other times of the year.

If you ·would like to make one or more of these lap robes, let Merilie Robertson know. When we have collected a number of these she will arrange to have them picked up and delivered to the Medical Center.
